Depending on the specification, three alternatives are available for automatic wrapping and strapping:

AUTEFA Solutions Wrapping Machine AD-WRAP is a fully automatic external bale wrapping system, which is suitable for various applications such as use with combinations of new balers, upgrading of newer balers as well as retrofitting of old balers.  AD-WRAP gives tremendous flexibility to baler operations.  It is a stand-alone unit, which allows it to be fed by multiple balers.  The concept is to use automation to place a polyethylene hood on one side of the bale, turn it, and then place a hood on the other side of the bale.  This simple process also makes AD-WRAP and excellent choice for re-packaging bales.

INTRA (POWER) WRAP 

The Intra Power Wrap enables a reliable protection of fibers against any kind of contamination during transport or intermediate storage, due to a consistently high wrapping quality.  Depending on the specification, two alternatives are available for automatic wrapping and strapping: Intra Wrap and Intra Power Wrap.

Both wrapping systems work with the 3-sheet-wrapping – a top sheet, bottom sheet and a belly wrap. Two alternatives for the strapping material can be chosen:  PET (standard) or steel band.

Capacities of 45 bales/h are have been achieved with Intra Power Wrap.

Automation of Bale Warehouse

The highest efficiency of a fiber line can only be achieved by full automation of the complete final stage of fiber production.  After wrapping and strapping AUTEFA Solutions offers the following steps in the automated process:
