Fi-Tech, Inc. to represent Fleissner GmbH of Egelsbach, Germany

Fi-Tech’s principal, Zimmer AG, Frankfurt, Germany, recently completed the purchase of Fleissner GmbH, and has assigned Fi-Tech sales, spare parts and after sales service coordination responsibilities for Fleissner GmbH in the USA and Canada. The assignment was effective November 17, 2003.
Don Gillespie, currently a vice president of Fleissner, Inc. in Charlotte, NC, will join Fi-Tech, Inc. He will have overall responsibility for the Fleissner product lines.
Fleissner GmbH is recognized throughout the world as a leading manufacturer of spunlace nonwoven systems, staple fiber processing lines, and drum dryers for textile, tissue and nonwoven processes. In addition, they design and manufacture HighTech dryers for the paper industry and equipment for processing and treating carpet, textiles and wool.
Fleissner Inc., Charlotte, NC was not part of the purchase agreement and will continue to be owned by Mr. Fleissner and his Ansbach, Germany based company.
Fi-Tech, Inc., established in 1972, represents the most technologically advanced European and American manufacturers of machinery for the Synthetic Fibers and Nonwoven Fabric Industries in North America. The company’s services include sales, technical service, spare parts support, logistical support and customs clearance.
